DESCRIPTION

Working with either a stock of images found on the Internet, or scans of printed images, participants discover and work on digital collages, combining images, as well as editing or transforming them using specific software. Collage involves arranging a wide variety of different elements and, as such, is a way of developing such notions as juxtaposition, resemblance, superposition, association, contrast and scale. Using digital tools gives an extra measure of freedom compared to traditional collage techniques, notably as far as the modification and transformation of its different components are concerned.
