OBJECTIVES

• Discover the 360-degree camera and the principle of panoramic digital images.
• Learn about wide-angle lenses.
• Understand space in a different way.
• Try your hand at visual creation using a camera, but with the obligation of appearing in the image yourself.
• Get a feel for and recognise the role of anomalies in images.

DESCRIPTION

A 360-degree camera shoots stills and videos that record everything all around the camera. It produces images in which both the photographer and the subject in front of him/her are visible, as well as almost all the surroundings. The result can either be a total panoramic image or an image whose deformations resemble the inner surface of a sphere. In this workshop, participants will take 360-degree photos and videos, while trying to deal with a major constraint: nothing escapes the eye of this camera lens!
